Christmas is a special time of year and at Elephant Wings Interiors decorating your home for the season is more than just throwing up a little tinsel.
EWI Designs believe your Christmas décor should reflect you and your home, here’s a little sample of a home I’ve just completed.
The interior of the home (which was designed by EWI Designs ) is a tonal combination of grey. The walls are painted in Little Greene’s French Grey with the flooring hues throughout the property being a mixture of dark charcoal and smokey-grey oak wood flooring.
The furniture in the property is simple,minimal and elegant with a modern contemporary touch. I wanted to compliment this with this years Christmas Décor.
The Christmas tree is an 8ft ‘North Valley Spruce Fir’ artificial tree by Hays Garden World.
The lighting that was needed for this size of tree was two sets of ‘720 LED warm white’ static lights from Christmas World.
For the tree decorations, a classic design of antique silver, gum-metal grey, glass and crystal was chosen to compliment the simple, but elegant interior.
Decorations were sourced from a large variety of stores, including some of my trusty favourite interior stockists such as The White Company, Crate and Barrel, New Bank Garden Centre, John Lewis, CB2 and Habitat.
To add warmth and texture natural drift wood pieces were added, light green flora was introduced to provide an earthy tone and finally to finish off, a natural wicker style basketwas used for the base.
To complete the room, subtle black reindeer were added along with two giant gum metal grey baubles.
